The Link - cell wall deficient organisms?

Here is a link to an article that gives very detailed, clinical information on Sarcoid treatment, with reference to its similarity to Lyme in having cell wall deficient organisms as a causative factor. I believe this is the link I have been looking for between Alison's illness (sarcoid) and mine (chronic Lyme). We may both have this "genetic factor" in our immune systems that Dr. Trevor Marshall discusses.

This has been a tough two weeks for Alison. She has been extra busy with a big spring horse show. The second week of the show she caught the flu from some of her students, then the rash started coming back, first on her hands and then her face. She has been quite miserable. I hope that this information in the above-linked article will help her get the treatment she needs.
